Like many homes in Rossmoor, CA this 1960s era house had a traditional layout but was in need of a serious update to better reflect the lifestyle of our clients, a young, growing family. The goal was to create an open and functional environment that remained warm and inviting to guests.
The homeowners love to cook and entertain, and the old kitchen wasn’t a great use of space for hosting family and friends.
We then updated the kitchen with a spot for a few stools and much needed counter space.
We added a beverage center next to the family room and used a new set of Wolf appliances.

What a difference! Yes, I can see that it was a major remodel but certainly successful. So much lighter, brighter, and roomier! Love the new wall treatment and the “floating” shelves too.
